One of the best ways for guests to beat the extensive crowds and excessive heat at Walt Disney World is to attend an After-Hours event. Disney announced this week that Disney After Hours will be returning to WDW in 2025. These late-night adventures within the parks are a separately ticketed event and are limited to a select number of guests. These events allow for guests to explore the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT after official park close.
Guests can enter the park as early as 7 p.m. and get to stay in the park for three hours after the parks close. This allows for guests to experience attractions with shorter wait times, meet some of their favorite characters (typically rare ones you often don’t find during regular park hours), and get to indulge on snacks including ice cream, popcorn and select beverages.
After Hour Events for 2025 begin January 6th for Magic Kingdom, January 22nd for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and February 27th at EPCOT.
Event times for the parks are as follows: Magic Kingdom 10:00 p.m. to 1 a.m.EPCOT 10:00 p.m. to 1 a.m.Hollywood Studios 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Hollywood Studios After Hours events will allow guests to explore Andy’s backyard in Toy Story Land, watch their lightsabers light up the sky in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, join Aerosmith on tour via the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith or test their luck in the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
After Hours Event Dates for Hollywood Studio in 2025 include:
- January 22nd and 29th
- February 12th and 19th
- March 5th and 26th
- April 1st and 30th
- May 14th and 28th
- June 4th, 11th and 25th
- July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
- August 6th, 20th and 27th
- September 3rd
On March 26th and April 1st, Disney After Hours will run from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Magic Kingdom After Hours events will allow guests to experience some of the parks most iconic rides under the beautiful Florida night sky. These attractions will include TRON Lightcycle Run presented by Enterprise, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (both right now require virtual queues during the day) but will be available via a standby queue during the event. Seven Dwarfs Mind Train and Space Mountain will also be available during the event plus so many more!
After Hours Event Dates for Magic Kingdom in 2025 include:
- January 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
- February 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th
- March 3rd, 17th, 24th and 31st
- April 7th and 28th
- May 5th, 12th and 19th
EPCOT After Hours events will allow guests to experience the magic of EPCOT after dark. Guests will be able to enjoy favorite attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After and Soarin’ Around the World. All of which tend to experience significant lines during the day.
After Hours Event Dates for EPCOT in 2025 include:
- February 27th
- May 8th and 29th
- June 19th and 26th
- July 10th, 24th and 31st
- August 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
- September 11th and 25th
Ticket Information!
Disney After Hours ticket prices will range from $175 to $185 (plus tax) for Magic Kingdom, $155 to $175 (plus tax) for EPCOT and $155 to $185 (plus tax) for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green tickets go on sale September 4th. For all other guests interested in attending an event, tickets will go on sale September 10th.
