As we continue to absorb all the announcements, we received at D23, we continue to find new things to be excited about in the upcoming years. 2025 will bring us two new lounges to Walt Disney World.
The first is a Tavern that will be themed to Pirates of the Caribbean and will of course be found in the Magic Kingdom. This new space is a pirate lover’s dream. Disney is describing the tavern as a “rambunctious watering hole” and will welcome pirates and buccaneers of all ages. The announcement referenced a menu of grogs and grub. We look forward to learning more about this seaworthy experience in the coming months.
The second will be found in EPCOT and is inspired by Spaceship Earth. It’s hard to believe Spaceship Earth has been entertaining guests for over 40 years now. This ride is a guest favorite and is the icon of the EPCOT park. So, it is only fitting for the new lounge to be inspired by the stories, shapes and legacy of the iconic ride. Disney is describing the lounge as a “Zen space to gather and enjoy refreshments.” We look forward to the elegant experience this lounge is sure to provide.
